May. 30th, 2026 11:37 amhttps://a-bugaev.livejournal.com/1359199.html ,

May. 29th, 2026 10:51 pmTesting needed in advance of code push!
May. 28th, 2026 04:10 pmHowever! The reason it's been so long is we kept trying to get some of the stuff that's pending to "really finished" instead of just "mostly finished", and then we once again looked around and went "oh no, this is a really big code push with a lot of changes". Those make us nervous, because while we do a lot of testing ourselves, y'all are really creative in how you use the site and we inevitably find a bunch of edge cases when we let you loose on new code with your real-world data!
So, if folks have some spare time in the next few days, it would be a huge help if you could spend half an hour or so using the site the same way you normally do but with the "Site-Wide Canary" beta features flag turned on. Canary mode is a sort of "live testing" mode: it's your real data, but running the most up-to-date code.
Canary mode always does have a few glitches -- there may be missing text strings or errors about missing database properties, which is a limitation of how we run it. We don't need to know about those, but anything else weird that you run into, leave a comment with what you were trying to do and the error message you got.
I'll repeat that the "here be dragons" caution that's on the beta features page: some things may be broken, so don't use it for when you're doing something important. But a few more eyeballs on it before the push will help the push go more smoothly for everyone.
For folks who want to concentrate on what's changing, we haven't finished the second code tour of what's going to be in this push, but the ffirst one has a good chunk of what's going to be going live. (We'll get the second half done ASAP!)

1. Convicted Feeding Our Future founder Aimee Bock claimed from jail that Rep. Ilhan Omar knew about the $250M COVID meal fraud, alleging her office helped secure the USDA waivers that made the scheme possible.
Can we finally get some jail terms?
2. 15 individuals have been indicted for over $90 million in an alleged massive healthcare fraud scheme in Minnesota, after a sweeping FBI investigation
But not their senior partners in the Governor office and Congress.
3. Minnesota Judge Nancy Brasel just sentenced Somali Feed Our Future fraudster Zamzam Jama —who stole $5.6 million —to only six months in prison. This came just a day after she gave another Somali fraudster a one-year sentence.
This is why they are so bold. Worst case scenario - they get a six-months vacation and then back to stealing millions. They don't have anything to be scared of.

5. Seattle's LGBT commission demands free housing for 'trans refugees,' calls for socialist mayor to declare state of emergency over 'trans relocation crisis'
If you have money problems, the solution is simple - declare yourself "trans refugee", move to Seattle and get free housing.
6. Why milk costs $9/gallon in Hawaii
TLDR: Jones act + wokeness.
7. Spencer Pratt has launched a campaign where filthy Los Angeles streets are power washed using a stencil reading “imagine if the streets were this clean.”

8. New York had more antisemitic attacks than all the red states combined.
Fascism is always "rising on the right" but lands on the left. Many thanks to New York liberal Jews for enabling this.
9. Jewish students flee campuses citing antisemitism, transfer to Yeshiva University
10. A young German female activist from the latest Gaza flotilla was filmed by media in a neck-brace with her face looking “bruised and battered”, her expression tearful and “traumatized” after being held for a few hours in Israel. But then…. The Miracle: Just a couple of hours later, the same young German female activist was filmed perfectly fine, bouncing around, smiling and cheering… no bruises, no marks, no neck-brace, no injuries, no anything in fact.
11. At a pro-Palestinian rally in Australia, Islamists reveal their true intentions. “Just like Israel, Australia does not have a right to exist.”
Sure, they want to kill Jews. But they don't want to just stop there.
12. The 2026 Democrat Party is a place where people named Medhi, Hasan, and Saikat lecture an American Jew named Jake about why he needs to support a guy with a Nazi tattoo
The question is - what the Jew is still doing in that party? And the answer is - he doesn't care, as long as he thinks it will give him some power.
13. Masked Islamists in Montreal paraded a Jew being hanged through the streets.
I'm sure that's just a reasonable criticism of the actions of Israel's government somehow.

14. Mayor Karen Bass says LA should 'explore' having noncitizens vote
That's the endgame. Always had been. They need illegals for the job Americans don't want to do - voting for Democrats.

18. San Francisco YMCA bans nudity after trans member exposes himself to women, children

19. SPLC invested $270k in Charlottesville and got $81 million in additional donations. Extraordinary returns.
That's the real business of the Left.
20. The most striking part of this chart is how much bluer the bluest occupations are than the reddest are red. Progressives & liberals are far likelier to live in a monopartisan/monocultural bubble.
21. Blizzard, which is owned by Microsoft, penalized a gamer who named one of his characters "JDVANCE" after he was mass-reported by other players. They are claiming it violated "Vulgarity" and "Hate Speech" code of conduct policies.
Turns out, Vance's name is hate speech.

30. For about 12 glorious hours, the San Diego mosque shooting was absolute catnip for cable news. Two teenage white boys attack a mosque, three innocent people dead ... the “right-wing domestic terrorism” script wrote itself. Chyrons blazing, panels booked, every anti-MAGA hack already sharpening their knives. Then the manifesto dropped. And everything went dead quiet.
Turns out, those were some Jew-hating psychos. So, nobody cares anymore.

33. Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy, and Canada have reportedly rejected a proposal by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to allocate 0.25% of member states’ GDP for Ukraine support, highlighting divisions over long term funding strategy.
34. A man in his 40s with inflammatory bowel disease, was assessed outside a Tim Hortons, offered MAID, AND driven by the DR to the assisted suicide facility, and killed by MAID

38. Hollywood was full of enormous incandescent black Movie Stars right up until the moment activists decided the movie business was broken and racist and needed to be “fixed” and now we’re stuck hoping for Will Smith’s redemption because we aren’t making movie stars at all anymore

40. 'The Mandalorian and Grogu' tanks at box office with lowest Disney-era Star Wars opening ever
Does anybody even care anymore? The Mandalorian was a valiant attempt, but wokes killed it anyway. Can't believe Pedro Pascal kissing Steven Colbert on TV didn't make American families rush to the cinema though.

41. In one 18-month period in the early 1970s, there were 2,500 bombings on American soil—nearly 5 a day.
Left has always been violent, consistently. And the worst thing is, they keep getting away with it. Terrorists of the 70s went to the academia, and taught the new generations of terrorists.
42. To teach Israel how to make peace, Pippa Bacca, the leftist Italian, decided in 2004 to hitchhike from Turkey to Israel. She even learned basic Arabic, to prove that Islam is not a violent. Once she arrived in Turkey, she was gang-raped and murdered. She was 33 years old.
That's what Europe collectively is doing for the last 20 years.
